I got to take a day trip to beautiful Boothbay Harbor with a friend today. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
In spite of the weather, we had a great time. Had lunch on a tug boat!
The beef and barley soup and pastrami wrap special was so good.
We visited the Maine State Aquarium.
This is a 23 pound lobstah , who would look a whole lot better if he were bright red out of a steaming pot with a shit load of melted butter on the side. It was a great day and I got to see my good friend Jennifer ta boot!!!

The old movie musical, Carousel, was filmed in Boothbay Harbor.
On my Senior class to trip to Boston, we saw the stage procucion of Carousel on its tryout. They took the whole class back stage and we met the cast and were shown the props and how the sets worked. A great experience for a class, most of whom, had never been to Bangor.
