I fell into a burning ring of fire!

We burned the 3 years of brush piled in the back yard today.

You have to feed the fire.

The barn is open for business.

Burn baby burn!!!

Matt takes out a tree.

A plumber with a great sense of humor.

If you ever need a plumber, this would be the guy to call.

In less than two weeks.

There will be much festivity and live entertainment around this table.

Relaxing in this room,

and playing on the beach.
This is an high shot of North Litchfield Beach. Be sure to check out my "places of interest" link to Brookgreen Gardens. It is a hop, skip, and jump from where we are staying.

More signs of Spring!

We were out and about last weekend sniffing the spring air. Johnnie and Kim, along with Rita and Bobby, came out for New England boiled dinnah Saturday night.
Rita and Bobby are part of the upcoming beach house inhabitants of South Carolina. It was great to meet them!

We will all be here soon!

Sunday Matt and I went out to brunch, to the 17th Annual Bangor Garden Show, and then to Belfast to shop at "Oceanside Big Lots." We found bargains on this deck lounge chair and planter.

From Belfast we headed to Eddington to visit Johnnie and Kim. Kim was in the midst of baking biscuits and the beans were done. Perfect timing!

Matt is ready to hit the beach.

We are confused.

This early time change has Annie and I all confused. How come there is snow on the deck, the grill is out, and it is light out at 6:30 pm?

Top Stories!!! Aunt Ethel must be so excited!!!

Big doings in little Lee Maine today. Check out the latest news at the link on my "places of interest." My Aunt Ethel lives right across the street from all the action and had a birds eye view I'm sure.

South of the border!!!

This is the border that won't go away. Matt and I have been strippin each night, but this sucker isn't comin down. We have bought all the strippin tools, stripped according to directions, and it is still not coming off. We found out that this border was put up when our house was built in 1991. I think this border may be the only thing holding this place together.

We will never get this border off at this rate. My next attempt is to rent a steamer.

I would much rather play in the snow than strip.

More baggage!!!

After much ado, Matt purchased this set of luggage via Ebay. He had to have all out war with the seller and got rather nasty. Now we have this great set of luggage and the seller is refunding our money in full because Matt was pissed. Semper Fi !!!

My neighbor Sid!

Not only can my neighbor Sid fix anything, he has a great sense of humor. He stopped by tonight, and of course we talked about the cold weather. Sid said, "it was so cold today, I took a piss outside and had to keep backin up."

Weekend Update

Friday was a snow day. I don't know the actual amount we received. Let's just say it was several inches.

We got all the paint supplies to paint the kitchen and dining area. Now all we need is the ambition.
