My dog continues to train me...

Annie has always kind of bugged me when I talk to family and close friends on the phone. It's been rather irritating when I sit down to talk to her grandparents or her many Aunts and Uncles: Jerry, Dave, Kim, John, Bob, Rita, etc. Even though I may have just let her out to do her business, fed her, and played ball, she will continually sit by me while on the phone to these special people, wiggle all over, and claw me to the point of abuse. I finally realized last night while talking to Mom and Dad that she is just excited to recognize and hear their familiar voices over the phone.

Big Valentines doings!

I do believe that we have finally put away all the Christmas decorations, although the lights on the front of the house need to come down, but the 3 to 4 feet of snow puts a damper on that activity. We have managed to decorate for Valentine's Day. The above plant is called "Peggy" after Matt's Mom. It was sent to us upon her passing in an arrangement of many plants. It was about 3 inches high when I first tranplanted it. I love how big the plant has become and so would Matt's Mom. Peggy rocks on!!!

It's a full moon...

Elaine has a spooky eye. She always has, because she is a cat and all, but this weekend her eye was especially weird.

Matt is always weird.
And every full moon, Johnny and I like dress alike.

Not to be out done...

...by the Gironda's. I too have created my own little Asian spot in my home. This is a combination of gifts from the Gironda's and my friend who was lucky enough to go to Special Olympic World Games in China. All I need now is some bamboo.

Plans are under way...

For a yearly ice fishin' trip.
Who knows where they will end up this year?
These pics are from Mesquacook Lake, 50 miles north of Ashland, in an unknown territory.
Smitty loves cats!
It's all about the hole.
You may get in, but you may never get out.

But you will have a good time, Mark did!

It just keeps snowing...

Can you find the barn in this picture?
No global warming issues in Maine today.

Isn't it pretty in the back yard?
