Sea critters.

One of the best parts of staying at the beach are the many sea critters you find.

I blew out my flip flop, stepped on a pop top.

After dragging the guys through a ton of speciality shops at "Broadway at the Beach" we came upon Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.

The outdoor bar is quite nice for taking a break, and mango margarita's.

Hurricane Myrtle hit while we were there and a giant bottle of tequila came out of the eye of the storm and filled a giant pitcher full of that crazy concoction.

The nachos were great!

No one minded the long wait for a table once they bellied up to the outside bar and the dancin' soon started.

Matt, Bobby, and Rita stranded in a sand bar.

It's 5:00 o'clock somewhere!

Fins to the left, fins to the right!

While in Myrtle Beach we visited Ripley's Aquarium at "Broadway at the Beach."

This is a sea horse.

Watch out for that tail, it's a killer.

This is a grouper, one of my favorite fish to eat.

First day at the beach

Our first day we faced a tornado with high winds and sea. We were forced to weather the storm eating a great breakfast, drinking massive amounts of coffee, and sitting on the front porch.

The surf was high!

Auntie Em, Auntie Em!

At one point we had to wrestle this shark by poking him in the eye.

And then about 2 in the afternoon the sky cleared and it was happy hour!!!

Happy campers!

Tourist.

How do you spell relief?

The front porch of our beach house was always full of festivities.

Happy Easter !

John, Kim, Rita, and Bobby came out yesterday to wine, dine, and finalize trip arrangements. Along came, Zing, their black lab. Annie and Zing played hard, she is pooped today.

It was nice to celebrate Easter at home.

I have added St. Timothy's to my places of interest. Click on the link and then on the message from the rector, my brother the father.

Forget what I said.

About spring being in the air. We were laced with 13 inches of snow today. It was a rough, yet adventurous, commute to work this morning. A grill with this much snow on it is a sure sign that this early time change may not be right, or Mother Nature is just screwing with us again.

Annie thought the snow was great!

She helped me make one of the last snowmen of the season, maybe?

Our snow person has South Carolina on its mind!

Beach bound!!!
