The new addition to the toy collection. We decided to buy a used camper for the first season at the lake, as opposed to building the first year and wishing we had put the cabin facing another direction.

Meet Zoey!

I never talk about my job on my blog because you can get fired for that shit. That being said, I must tell you about my new co-worker, Joey. She is a three month old St. Bernard who has stolen my heart.

This is the story of Zoey. About a week ago my boss's husband had a terrible accident in the driveway of their home and lost a family pet. Small dog, big truck, very sad! To avoid such a terrible accident in the future, they got a very large Zoey, of the St. Bernard breed! Big dogs are the best!

Now that we do not have to wade through 4 feet of snow, we are able to fill the bird feeders more often, and seeing more than turkeys at the feeders. Matt got this great shot this morning of a proud cardinal.

Live update from Carmel Maine

Thanks Jerry and Dave for our lucky bamboo. This is our complete spring garden: parsley, tomatoes, and some plant I bought at Lowe's.

It's hard to fly like an eagle, when you work with turkeys. The other day while trying to work from home, the turkeys arrived at the bird feeder again, Annie went crazy, and paced and barked the rest of the day.

It continues to snow. Our neighbors, Sid and Jackie, amaze me with their wood pile.

Our neighbors house is for sale. This four bedroom, two bath, two car garage home is for sale for $204,000. The benefits include: Matt and I as your neighbor. Only those with less than two children need apply, preferably children who are adults and have left home.

My hot new ride!

Last Saturday Matt and I went out for lunch and returned home with a brandy new 2008 Jeep Compass. I love this crossover SUV! It's more my size, much better on gas than that gas suckin Ford Explorer we had, four wheel drive for traveling thru 5 feet of snow, and just plain cute!
