This one is for you Dave!

Your fishin buddies went back to one of favorite fishin spots without you.
It was 55 below zero outside the ice shack.

They scored about 20 salmon. Had three trucks that would not start. Ate great food including: moose meat, chop suey, and breakfast in the ice shack.

Played and cheated at poker while solving all the world's problems.

Sleds are required.

The camp has had many improvements in the past couple years.

Keeping the home fires burning.

....by remote control.

Matt's wounded shoulder gets better every day and caused no damage to his Marine Corp tatoo.

Annie's bed got washed today. She paced the whole time it was in the washer and dryer. She hates it when her world is disrupted, but loves a fresh clean bed.

Snow Day!

We are getting another 12 to 18 inches today.

Post op!

Matt's surgery is over! Yippee!! He has this wonder tube that sends pain medication directly to his wounded paw.

Nurse: "I've never had anyone take a picture pre-op before."

Me: "and you probably never will again."

This Christmas past...

Kim just sent us these pics from our Christmas Eve celebration. Of course I had to help Matt prepare for a photo op.

We might be silly... ...but we clean up well.

Hero has a birthday!!!

Hero celebrated his birthday this holiday season with his proud new family.

He is so thankful to have been found by Kim at the humane society, adopted by Bobby and Rita, and living the good life. We all just love him!

You frequent readers know that we love our mini barn.

We were pleased to find out that Hill View Mini Barns is now designing cabins.

This 12 x 28 unit is called the "Settler"
