The brochure to our new pools reads, "come home to a vacation paradise." Since our paradise was still being built today, I made other vacation plans. I stayed on the couch until noon, ate left over potato salad and barbequed chicken for breakfast and watched "The Color Purple" for the 82nd time. If you have not watched this movie in the past year, you need to. My favorite line in the movie is when Shug Avery states, "it must piss God off when someone walks through a field of purple and doesn't appreciate it." Then I had "Chips Ahoy" for lunch. Life is good.
