You don't hear many people praising an oil company these days, but one must give credit to Irving Oil for donating 5 cents on every gallon of gas sold on June 2nd and 3rd to Special Olympics of Maine.
Atheletes were there to wash windshields, greet customers, and talk about Special Olympics.
This is the store where we were stationed. All Irvings throughout the state participated in the event.
We considered hi-jacking this limo, but the cops were everywhere.
It was a beautiful Maine summer day.
The Bangor Police Dept. assisted with the event. Officers and their Chief were there to help pump gas. They brought along this robot that is used to go where no man should go.
A winning smile!
Let's go team!!!
I received this great plaque from the swim team!

Nice gesture by Irving Oil; they could afford more.
I like the BLUE CONOE!
How about that swim coach plaque?
Congratulations on your plaque. I'm sure you earned it!
